Cloak of Reflection Vs. Beholders

I am in the city of the Beholders. I have the Cloak of Reflection. I am getting blasted by lightening, and other effects. Should this be happening?

does the cloack reflect the beholder rays?

cloak of reflection or mirrors?

cloak of reflection, from the asylum, will reflect lightning bolts, I am not sure about the beholder ray version...

cloak of mirrors, from the fish city, will absorb magic and beholder rays...

kinda confusing

Only with ToB installed, without it, the cloack reflex them
