Multiple Strongholds

I thought I'd be really clever, and just keep switching my protagonist in a multiplayer game, to get all the srtongholds, but that didn't work. :)
I heard there was a baldurdash patch, but I went on the site and couldn't find it. Does anyone know where I can get it from?
