Which priest do you think is most powerful? Dueled Ranger/Cleric

Post by concluder1 »

I think the dueled ranger/cleric is the most powerful, But I would like to hear from everyone else to see what you think.
You know, my last owner always said I was sharp and edgy. Heheh. He was such an ass.

If you have ToB, definitely the Ranger/Cleric multi. Gets Greater Whirlwinds and all that, and hardly misses out on anything.

The multi is a better fighter, the dual is a better spellcaster. The multi misses out on a *lot* of spells, especially if you have a full party.

But basicly it narrows down to that: if you want a great melee type with clerical power, take the multi, if you want a great cleric/druid who can help in melee if need be, take the dual.

It would appear i am incorrect , multi ranger/clerics also get ironskin, so the only real drawback i can see is that they cant put 3 points into duel weild.

I have a Ranger/Cleric multi with *** in Two Weapon Style... Born & raised in SoA with ToB installed. That not supposed to be possible?

In SoA it is definitely the dual Ranger(Stalker?)/Cleric. But I think in ToB things are different. A thief/cleric multi can also be very potent. But I think the most powerful classes are mage/cleric combos.
If the final state (at 8M XP) count I would vote for a dual conjurer/cleric. If we seek for the best soloist I would vote for the gnome cleric/illusionist.
