KotOR: is it like the P&P game?

I'm sure everyone knows that Star Wars has a P&P RPG that is styled in the evil d20 system that took over Dungeons and Dragons. From looking at the information about the game on this site, I noticed some similarities.

My question is this: Is KotOR styled in the d20 system?

a d20 is a 20 sided die so in the game if u did 2d20 damage it would be 2 20 sided dice (which u probably guessed!
