I have heard of people making hints about keeping rogue stones for some reason and the walk through suggests carrying the bodies of the people in the Dragon's Eye part of the game. I have just gone through the whole Dragon's Eye carrying the three bodies in my Mercenaries Sack and 5 rogue stones in my gem bag, and I havent found anything out of the ordinary. I have played and won the game already without carrying the items and carrying these items is giving me nothing new.
can someone please give me a hint on where I need these items to see something new, or am I just being mislead by some people and their hints?
I would appreciate any words of wisdom anyone has about these things...

To err is human, but to really screw up you need a computer
Tha same........carried all the dead body, dead spider, dead cat and each item i found all the game long without using them.
Someone told that if you don't kill icoq (the demon who look for the letter in the orc/goblin cave) you will find him later and these item can be useful..........but i killed it so no way to prove......

thanks for the input...Icog? refresh my memory on what goblin/orc cave you are talking about...
I am currently replaying IWD2 over and over again soloing with different characters, so will be going through all the caves again in the near future. What cave should I be looking for?
and the rogue stones? ever hear anything about those?

I believe Dead End means Yquog, the barghest who gives you a quest to retrieve a coded message within the Goblin Warrens (Chapter 1).
I can't remember anybody having a good reason to keep rogue stones in IWD2. I'll make a search on this forum and see what I come up with.
Edit: Just checked. Nothing. The only thing I can think is that somebody was referring to Baldur's Gate.
Dungeon Crawl Inc.: It's the most fun you can have without 3 midgets and a whip! Character stats made by your's truly!

thanks Galuf...will keep my eye open the next time I run through Chapter 1 and I will make sure I am holding a few dead bodies of things.
Maybe I read about the stones on another forum group...will have to find that forum again and ask the person who posted...

Icog = Yquog

Yes, mispelled :-O
Then i recall in Bladur Gate there where such kind of stones with some use.
Ppl who code the game often make such joke of create uneseful item.
So at the end of the game you will ask yourself why did you spent so many hous with a dead cat in your bag or a pile of stone in your inventory !!!
The fact is that in Baldur Gate there where some items that collected would create something unusual and maybe very powerful. Failed to REPLAY the whole game to get a + 10 armor whose parts you could collect along the 3 Bladur games (not useful for IWD II of course but think some ppl here love this serie !!).
Cheers

Spoiler below. Answer to this thread...........................
I just finished the game last night and found out the answer to the dead bodies you find. If you leave Yquog alive, you find him later in the severed hand. You can confuse him for experience if you have a dead man and woman on you (even in the bag of holding.) I'm not sure if it helps with the ensuing battle at all. There's no need to keep the first dead bodies you find though, there are others you can pick up in the severed hand.
