How to tranfer items from one player to another?

I couldn't drag and drop the items to another player like in Baludur's Gate. Anyone know how?

You can, unless you're trying to take away an item that a follower has looted from a corpse. They won't part with those, even if they become encumbered much more quickly.

You can drag items over by dropping them on their pictures at the bottom of the screen, unless the items in question belong to one of your followers.

Actually, whether its a bug or not, you can get items from a follower. Enter the sell screen of any merchant and then grab the items and drag them to one of your own characters, you can then keep the items or sell them for yourself, either way its preferable to letting the greedy suckers drain away all your hard earned cash. Its the only way I've found to get decent magic items. The NPC's always take the best items regardless of whether or not they can actually use them.
