which way

hello

I m at the end of the asylum and wopndering which way i should take. go to the underdark or take the offered ship from the guy(forgot his name).
are there any differences whether you take the one or the other way(euquipement?)

I'd say go with Saemon - hey, he's a pretty trustworthy guy, right?

I've played it both ways and, other than more loot and experience, I didn't find anything worthwhile about the sidetrack. If it had been ALOT more loot and/or ALOT more experience, I might have a different opinion.

Don't get me wrong...it's an interesting place...I just didn't find it worth the extra time and effort.

Unless, of course, I'm missing the point of the place entirely...

Yes if you dont go with Saemon you miss out on a very useful item.
