Well you will need to get Dynaheir and Khalid killed or locked in a room in order to take Jaheira and Minsc but thats not too hard. With Viconia as your cleric you would be better off with a fighter like Kivan than Jaheira.

Khalid wandered off on his own and ran into an ogre, two hits later he is no more, i plan on much the same for Dynaheir

You can win the game with that party, but IMHO, it's not the greatest lineup. But if you want to use a group like that, here are some suggestions:

Imoen is a better thief than Safana, and it's probably a little easier to get Edwin or Dynaheir than it is to get Safana, so I'd use Imoen as your Thief (instead of Safana) and use Edwin or Dynaheir as your Mage (instead of Imoen). Edwin is a specialist Mage who can't use spells from the school of Divination, but he's the best Mage in the game, and Dynaheir is not too shabby. Edwin appears in BG2, of course, and Dynaheir gets mentioned in BG2.

To avoid complaints from the group due to Reputation issues, you might consider getting rid of the only Good character in your group who would complain if your Reputation got too low: Minsc. (Imoen doesn't complain.) You could replace Minsc with Shar Teel or Kagain and play a Neutral/Evil party with Jaheira, Viconia, Edwin, and Imoen. The only problem is that Kagain and Shar Teel don't appear in BG2. But Korgan and Kagain are basically the same, if you want to look at it that way. :)

Actually Imoen does complain. Dialogue may not come up but she has a sound bite that comes up every few minutes where she calls you something like "Dirty riff raff".

SPOILER

I found that out after I killed the guy who sells highly marked up freedom scrolls to free Branwen. He deserved it :D

i got Edwin instead of Safana and Imoen is just a thief, it'll be a balancing act throughout the game, when my rep gets too high, i guess i'll have to do some thuggery to drop it a bit
