need help in the carpenter quest

hi was wondering if this is a bug? i'm stuck in the game now , not getting any new quests but the problem is that i can't seem to solve a few reminding quest.. apparent i looked at the walkthr and it says that in order to get the carpenter to make a barn..( to solve another quest) i need to help his son convert to old faith.. this i was told to talk to jaroo and later to the priest in the church which says that he will allow a conversion only if i can get holten and Fruella's to be st curtlets followers. after getting all the dialogues, but when i get to holten house i can't seem to get into a conversation with them to convert them? do i need a char that has strong skill points in order to do so? anyone can help? thanks

more bugs?!??

gosh.. seemed to me i'm getting frustrated with this game.. right now i'm somewhere in the temple and after wiping out all the greater bugbear.. really needed a rest but i'm in combat mode because of those black pudding.. which happened to be on the other side of the wall... i can see them but i can't reach them or even hurt them.... is that a way i can end "combat mode" i can't seemed to leave the level or anything.. i'm struck!! is this another bug? like my earlier post?

Hey, wait a minute...

When I did that quest, Terjon wanted me to convert the leatherworker, Jakk Holton (I at least got the first name right). I would suggest that you go through the dialogue w/ Terjon again to make sure who he asks you to try and convert. If he does say Jakk, then I can fill you in with more on that quest later. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice but i've solved my prob apparently it has nothing to do with the leather worker jakk ..( i have solved the that quest already and still had the problem) . What i did, was that if you had the bride for one player quest.. the only way to get the dialog out was to marry fruella (Groan!) and to give holten some peace ... only then the dialog on holten will come out saying that he's converted to St Cuthbert..

this sucks because i really hated fruella following me .. she was always nagging everytime you get her to do something..hehehh sent her on a sucide mission after that and she rsitll efused to die!!.. did the worse thing ever.. got the husband to kill her instead while she's unconscious...*evil Laughter...*
