Anyone had the same problem??!?

gosh.. seemed to me i'm getting frustrated with this game.. right now i'm somewhere in the temple and after wiping out all the greater bugbear.. really needed a rest but i'm in combat mode because of those black pudding.. which happened to be on the other side of the wall... i can see them but i can't reach them or even hurt them.... is that a way i can end "combat mode" i can't seemed to leave the level or anything.. i'm struck!!

I used this to enter combat mode, possibly it will end it if far enough away.... but I doubt it.

Try pressing C
