Off hand Weapons?

Ive chosen a Kensei to play and was using a Bastard Sword Scimatar Duel wielding combo... Check this link for why I did that before you start yelling at me on how cruddy the bastard sword is and what an idiot I am.

Anyway... I heard from a friend that Kundane +2 ( A short sword you get in the planar prison) gives you an extra attack though it doesnt say anything about that in the item description... Is this true? If so does this mean that all weapons with a 0 speed factor give an extra attack (Kundane has a 0 speed factor)...

I thought speed factor was simply when you attacked with your weapon in respect to the round and had nothing to do with the number of attacks you get per round. 1 speed factor = attack at the 1/10 part of the round... etc.

Belm+2 also has a speed factor of 0, and it gives you an extra attack (explicitly says this)

On the other hand Scarlet Ninja=to +3 also gives you and extra attack (explicitly says this) but it has a speed factor of 1

bastard swords are actually pretty good weapon choice...once you hit a certain place that requires tob to be installed...

kundane belm and the scarlet ninja to are the trinity of dual wield...only those 3 weapons give you the extra attack per round. no other weapons will give you that extra attack per round.

oh and scimatars are an awesome choice, once again that certain place gives you access to a really spiffy scimatar.

So Kundane, Scarlet Ninja-to and Belm are the 3 weapons that give an extra attack?

I understand why the Scarlet Ninja-to does and why Belm does because they explicitly say that they give an extra attack.

But when I check Kundane the only thing that it says is that its special cause it has a 0 speed factor. Thats why I asked
