Gold to Item Form

Post by Oogly Mage »

I dunno if this was a previously asked question(I'm too lazy to check), but is there ANY way whatsoever to turn gold from your accumilated purse back into item form(like that item that shows gold coins and a number)?
Maybe put it from your inventory back on the ground?

You can turn gold into reputation, if you donate to a temple.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

You may scoff at me for this but I wanted to use it for the cheese of being able to keep your items when you start a new game. I was going to accumilate large amounts of wealth and then restart, import my character and use the method of pausing and droping all the items on the ground right before the opening cinematic thing starts. Then after Irenicus molests me in my cell and I wake up I will be standing on a giant pile of gold from the last game. :)

But it looks as though that plan failed...
But what I did do was start a character in ToB and then import it into SoA so that when I start a new game I get to start at level 18 instead of 7 and I get a bunch of beefy +4 items with it. :)

Bah..

Rather than screw around like that, why not just summon the equivalent gear using shadowkeeper?

Way easier, IMAO

Because that is cheating...uh...well...its not as fun because you are just writing the source code for the stuff you want instead of cutting legit cheese for it. :)
Also I can't download the shadow keeper thing anyway because it is of MIME type application.zip or whatever so the prefs won't let me.
Besides I don't want to play with the shadow keeper until I have finished the game completely.

Um..I would suggest don't cheat or MOD at all untill you finish the vanilla game. It's your show, but that's my input ;)
