My First Dragon! - Spoiler

I just killed my first dragon. It was in the temple ruins just before you meet the Shadow Lord.
I can`t believe how easy it was. Nalia used a flesh to stone spell and my tanks moved in and zapped him proper. Minsc took minor damage and nobody else was hit at all.
The dragon just stood there and took it all.
Now, where`s the next one!

Umm... I think the Flesh to Stone spell destroys any items the creature might be carrying. In the case of the Shadow Dragon, there are some pretty imortant treasures you will lose out on.

Reload and try again, this time make sure he turns hostile- not to take away from your victory but its much more satisfying to defeat him this way. A cow could kill a dragon that stays blue.

He had turned red and I did get his items - dragon scales for special armour etc!

well done davfra. My first dragon kill was Lord Jierdan Firkraag the red dragon, i forgot about the shadow dragon until later and by the time i went back it was an easy victory.

Having duffed up Firkraag and the Shadow Dragon, there was a nice, easy black drgon in Suldathingie which mashed me several times before I worked out how to take him down (he casts Insect Plague, the bastard!)

Can't wait to try 'em with the better AI from ToB!
