Poisoning Druid Grove?

Post by Obike Fixx »

Hey

I know, I know, it's really pathetic...
But I simply can't figure out how to poison the druid grove. How do I use the potion and where?

Hey
Sorry 'bout the late reply; I've been quite busy lately.
In any case, thanks for the reply, user, but the link seems to be broken.
Do you happen to know of any other sites or a working link?
I've looked in a lot of walkthroughs, including the one on Gamebanshee, without any shred of luck.

I don't know why the link didn't work for you. Perhaps the site was temporarily closed due to bandwidth issues or something.

In any case, I just clicked on the link a minute ago, and I had no trouble accessing the FAQ. Why don't you try again?

To be honest, I don't know if the FAQ will help you much. It says that after you talk to Logan, you'll be approached by a halfling named Lord Khellon Menold, but it doesn't say where (it's somewhere in Trademeet). If he doesn't appear, I guess you can't poison the grove. It's a shame that these "definitive" FAQs that offer so many spoilers can't present the basic facts.

I think he approaches you as soon as you leave Lord Logan's building. But this only happened to me once, and it was long ago...

and in the minds of many people who have played baldur's gate, including me, the simpson guide is the definitive guide...best ever, except possibly the banshee guide, since the guide here is hyperlinked and has pictures... ;)

To poison get the poison and pour it in the druid grove font... this will PO the druids... and you'll havce a battle, not only that, but you'll also NOT get the Staff of Thunder and Lightening (Not that its that good anyway) but sttill, I don't see any real advantages to doing it this way.

OBviously if cernd or whoever has already challenged the Evil druid you cant continue this quest. Since well, you saved the day already, it wouldn't be good scripting to ruin it :D

you only get approached by the lord with the poison if you are evil (my rep was 6 i think). You just put it in the pool at the back of the grove after that. However you will then lose 2 rep if you speak to logan again, and wont be able to do the mantle of waukeen quest (and you wont egt your statues on the fountain!)

GameFAQs does not appreciate "deep linking". ;) They probably expect you to use their homepage and search from there. Just search for "baldur gate".
