I'm kinda curious about what the best weapon and proficiency is best for Minsc as well as Har'dalis.

Well, H'D already has two stars in shortsword, since bards usually get only one proficiency star per weapon, I'd say go for shortswords and dualwielding.

blades and swashbuckler should dual wield kundane and belm for four attacks per round. Maybe h'd should dual wield Crom faeyr and belm.

I think 2 handed sword and style is best for minsc.
