Asylum - Spoiler

I wanted to try leaving the asylum via the teleport this time. After I`d chased Irenicus off, I couldn`t find the necessary key.
It`s only as an experiment, but I would like to try that way.
Any help, please?

The Key is in his room on the first level of Spellhold, but you should know that you have really no benefit (except a shorter game perhaps if you consider that a good thing) from using the portal, you'll miss out not only on the whole Sahuagin City but some very useful items, too.

Thanks for that. I know I`ll miss some things, but I kept a spare save game at that point, just to try it out.
I`ll go back and have another look. I couldn`t find it earlier.
