Four Colored Chains

In the second level of the dungeon, *I think* in HoU, there is a magically locked door, with a diving pool, four chains of different color, and a disgruntled me next to them.

When you look into the pool, a series of 7 colors appear over the pool. If you pull the chains that correspond to the colors, in the correct order, a small dragon appears and attack each time. When the series is complete the doors do not open. There are also three levels in a room to the north, and I"m sure they have something to do with it. if you can give me any sort of help, or a link to a good walkthru, I'd appreciate it.

I don't think that what you described is accurate, in my opinion at least. To my knowledge and understanding, if you pull the chains incorrectly, make a mistake, the little dragon will apear and attack, but if you actually follow through correctly, the doors should open, make sure you don't mix up multiple colors. It worked for me several times, as my saves got corrupted once and I had to do it again....

I don't know exactly what those levers do, but I had them all in one position with handles facing the wall...but I don't think it relates to the chains...

Make sure you get the colors correctly, it displays different colors all the time, write them down (I did )

If it doesn't work, I'm sorry, couldn't come up with anything better, hehehe, but it did work for me all the time.
