Well, I have reached that small area outside the Moathouse Ruins but I don’t see how I can get access to the world map; when I’m in this small area I can’t go anywhere, it is only a little square, what should I do? I only want to return to Moath.

The walkthrough says that Hidden Cave Exit will take you to a small area outside the Moathouse Ruins ( I have already reached that small area), from where you can access the World Map. Also says that there is no danger in the area except for possibly sleeping.

Even if your world map isn't working for some reason, you should be able to use the little blue door icon to go back into the moathouse dungeon the same way you came out. As for using the world map, are you sure you've switched properly to the *world* map from the local map? There should be two buttons on the top right side of the map window that let you switch from local to "world" and back.
On the world map, just click on the area you want to travel to (although you can only go to highlighted areas...).
