Hi All.
I seem to have inadvertently caused my main character to be invulnerable to everything despite disabling the cheat mode in the .ini file.
I was having extreme difficulty in one of the levels ( not wishing to give anything away to those who wish to remain pleasantly surprised) and decided to enable a cheat ( hanging head in shame!).
So, I made all of my current party invulnerable and quickly fought my way into the next level.
So, I then restarted the game, after saving. Set ENABLECHEATS to 0 and began again.
To my surprise I found my characters were not receiving any damage at all, throughout the level, although new characters who joined my group did!
Has anyone else experienced this, or am I being properly punished by the Gods for my blatant indiscretion? Also would anyone have a solution as I really don't want to cake walk this game, for obvious reasons!
Thx.
Cheat gone Wrong!!!
It was warned by Bioware that useing "invulnerable" may damage the game.
The best way I found is to use "setconstitution 100" and "setstrength 100," "setdex 100," etc. This gives your char super power that you can kill everything so fast and easy. At the same time, once you've passed the difficult part and wish to play normally, use "set..." again to your original stage. Just write down your original stats.

Each to their own. At GB, we figure if you pay for the game, you're entitled to play it straight, cheat to godhood, or wear the CD as a neck ornament--whatever you choose.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
