NPC heavily encumbered

NPC heavily encumbered
That greedy little druid wench is hogging all the weapons we find and is now heavily encumbered. She won't give up any of them, nor will she sell to a trader, (I've gone to the priest, blacksmith, trader, and leatherworker). Is there *any* way to get her to relinquish some stuff so she isn't a sitting duck for any goblin that passes by?
Rogue picks the lock. says "Ready?" and throws open door. Wizard casts fireball, sorceror casts Ice Storm. Fighter, with his dying breath, says "A helluva place to put a false door!"

There is fan made patch that stops them from doing that, I'll see about finding the link.
For the time being, you may have to do the following. Go to the moathouse or some other place that a town NPC can't see you. Then, attack poor Meleny and kill her. Then loot the stuff off her body. Then bring the party, including the dead NPC, back to Hommlet and have her raised from the dead at the Church of Cuthbert.
