Ajunta Pall's Sword

Post by tre_chic »

Have been through the game once (without the help of the excellent walkthrough provided by GameBanshee), and could not get into the Tomb of Ajunta Pall to get the cool sword.

What's the trick?

Open it? Bash it? I don't know why you wouldn't be able to open it.

You need someone with high enough security skill to open the lock on the tomb.

Bash, IIRC  Not 100% sure about the Ajunta tomb (it was a week ago), but it seems to me that high security skill is not of vital importance since locked places (unless quest-locked) are "bashable" and can be opened with a little patience.

Ajunta Palls' sword

Thank you all. Don't know why the last time I couldn't, but could last night. Good to go - thanks again.

I took Mission with me on indoor quests, and Canderous for outdoor ones (with Bastila being the constant) in my Xbox run-through. Mission should be able to get you through any door which isn't deliberately set to a perma-lock or to require a quest device for opening. She has an ungodly amount of skill points to distribute when levelling, and can also recover mines for your later use with ease.

yeah i always use Mission when i think there are going to be a load of mines around.... although she still likes stepping on them instead of defusing them!!!

Odd but true that sometimes she moves a bit too close before starting to defuse, and triggers a device. The curious thing is that this isn't related to her awareness or demolitions ratings, since failure in awareness means you don't see it before it explodes, and failure in demolition means it explodes after you've started trying to disarm it.

I may well be wrong, but I seem to remember the tombs opening freely for me whilst I was doing archeology for Uthar, and then not after I'd been through the tomb of Naga Sadow.
