Help: Can't get anymore quests from Morag Tong

Post by Foss »

Well, I am a member of Morag Tong, Title: Brother, and I have done all the writ quests for Eno Hlaalu.

So I went to do some of the special duties, those quests that involves the dark brotherhood and the sanguine items.

The last quest I did of those special duties was to get the Ring of Sublime Wisdom from a guy in Yasammidan.

I gave the ring to Eno Hlaalu and he tanked me, I had also gotten some other sanguine items which I also gave him.

Then I asked for another special duty, and he said there were no other duties for me.
He mentioned nothing about me not being high enough in rank or anything else, just that there were no more for me or something like that.

Now, I saw on another site, a walkthrough, that there are other special duties, but I just don't understand why I can't get them.

I am not sure if it means anything, but I did the Additem "cheat" to get the ring from Yasammidan, simply because I was quite sure I had been there before and had problably sold the ring to someone before I knew that I needed it for this quest.

Can anyone help me here?

Usually when you are not a higher level, you need advancment. If you need more writs, go to balmora or sadrith mora and take up quests then advance

Ok, well, I am a Knower now, and still can't, and I have done all the common writs, so there is nothing for me in Balmora, and I would guess the same is for Sadrith Mora, the only quests I need seems to be the special duties.

But, I will try to talk to him later when I can advance some more.

Thx.

I have done all special duties until now, where he won't give me another one.

And your skills? Is there one of favorite 90 or more? You see, you should have the option to speak about "Grandmaster" to become one, altogether i suspect that if you hadn't got the attributes required there might be not the option. Although for me the current Grandmaster always comes up with the option when i'm asking for special duties after Ald Sotha, altogether i also always have Sneak equal or above 90 at this point.

P.S. Sorry for typo in the first sentence (was "attributes", should be "skills")

Sorry. i meant favorite skills, not attributes.
You cannot advance if you do not meet requirements, i.e. i f you don't have the one of favorite skills high enough. For Grand-whatever tittle there are exceptions for guild or two (for example, i've never been Champion of Fighters Guild and sometimes even do not have 90 in any of their favorite skills , nonetheless i always become Granmaster in course of following Percius advices; i do have 70 or more in Long Blade, though), altogether Morag Tong isn't among them. You have to have at least 90 in one of: Marksman, Short Blade, Light Armor, Acrobatics, Sneak, Illusion (and much less in two more in the list). There's also minimal requirements on attributes (Speed and Agility in case of MT), too, nevertheless i'm sure you meet them all right if you're so far, they aren't that high.
Your problem seems being not the quest, you have to get him speak about "Grandmaster" topic. Doesn't he mention it when you initiate the dialog?

P.S. I don't believe you haven't given him an account about some execution or two.
