I assumed that there was. But since this is a fairly staple topic of conversation at all game boards I figured It was a safe bet.
I haven't used the moodblade (gave it back) what did it do ?
Poisoned Blood FLails +2 are good too (I have a ranger dual wielding 2 of them!).

i found the scimitar of souls +3 rather disappointing by the time i got it... the dc's of the effects were low (around 12 or so i think), so i hardly got anyone to loose alevel / be dispelled
but maybe it's because i've been waiting so hard to get it, since it was, on paper, the best weapon out there...

If you want to use a great sword you can use cleaver:
Damage: 2d6 + 1
Attack Bonus: +1
Enchantment: +1
Damage Type: slashing
Special:
Brilliant Energy: All attacks ignore targets shield and armor bonuses
Weight: 10 lb.
Feat Requirement: Martial Weapon, Great Sword
Type: Two-handed
Ofcourse not at the end of the game.
In the end you can find
Greatsword of the Soulless +5
Damage: 2d6 + 5
Attack Bonus: +5
Enchantment: +5
Damage Type: Slashing
Special:
Vampiric: 2d4 hit points drained from target and temporarily added to wielder
(Fortitude save for none)
