SPOILER - this is talking about things you dont aqquire until you have left taris - contains details of things after star maps -

hey, i was wondering, i am just about to enter the star forge, but i am light and on the ebon hawk. i have many crystals, and lots of short, normal and double sabers, and lots and lots of colour and power crystals, and was wondering if anyone couls give me 3 perfect crystals so i have a descent lightsaber to face the forge...

e.g <crystal> <colour> <crystal> thanx

It doesnt matter what color u have on your saber.
Unless you go to Yavin spacestation (PC-version only) and buy the 2 special crystals.

And for crystals there isnt an ultimate combination, just see what fits you (and your class) best.

Bring along a set of three lightsabers just for you.

Nextor and Opila- If you have Critical Strike, these are great. And you should have Critical Strike.

Firkrann and Jenraux- These annihilate drones. A Phond crystal can be substituted for Firkrann to raise Lightsaber Defense.

Solari and Upari- Light Side only, but this is the most powerful combination in the Xbox version. I imagine you'll want to get the better crystals in the PC version.

thanks, where can i find the best crystals? i have raided the dantooine crystal cave and taken some of the jedi battle in anchorhead ... no luck really!

You should already have found most of those crystals if you're about to enter the Star Forge... anyway, GameBanshee has a list of all the crystals and where they can be found, so check it out.

If you play the PC version, you can use the solari crystal as a dark jedi. You need the heard of the guardian for this. This crystal negates the light side cap.

SPOILER WARNING:

I prefer damage over hitting in the last part of the game, so I give Juhani and my PC both a heavy hitting staff (one with the herart and one with the mantle of the force). I use the nextor-opila-combination for Jolee and keep a droid-killing staff in the back.

This, of course, applies only if you choose the light ending.

If you choose the dark one, I give me a solari-heart-sigil-staff an Bastila a Mantle-combination. (I think, if you choose the dark ending, you play a dark character...)

I use Mantle of the Force with Solari and Upari.
It gives me a +30 damage to my saber both hands
