Grr, cursed dungeon.

First post so please excuse anything stupid!

I recently decided to restart the game from the beginning, but am having a problem this time I didn't have before. I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned before, but I'm having trouble using the Doorway in the Pillar in the Moathouse Dungeon.

I have a level four party, and the best character at Searching has a Search grade of 6, and he still can't find the bloody portal!! Am i doing something wrong? The doorway is open when I search so it isn't that! Any ideas?

I had a problem with it at first too.

You have click on the panel (when your pointer turns into the little hand icon) and 'open' the panel in the pillar. With the pillar open, do a concentrated search and it should then reveal a ladder icon, which you can click on then.

If you've done that, I don't know what the problem is. I'd think that a 6 rank in search would be enough.

No such luck, none of my characters can find it, just the usual 'Nothing Found' appears...
