Argonians and Khajits

Post by UncleScratchy »

Anyone here ever play the game through with an Argonian of Khajit main character? If so, what class did you make the character and how did it work out? What were the major problems (beside oversized feet)?

I played with a female Khajiit Thief. She wore glass armor (open-helmed set) and only lacked the boots. The race is meant more for stealth, anyway, so the inability to wear boots wasn't so bad. It was better than always having to take them off if I wanted to Sneak. :)

Otherwise everything was fine - just like any other character I played with.

In name of what would you wish to take boots off while sneaking? I'm always sneaking with Boots of Blinding Spee on, it's just a fun when you're hacking or hitting H2H, say, Dremora Lord, and he cannot see you and tries to get away, and cannot because even in sneak mode you're faster than he running :D

Well, it became more of a force of habit when my Bosmer assassin was completely whipped by a mage I tried to sneak up on and pick pocket. ;) The fact that it help a little tiny bit still made a difference in the ordeal. :p

I really like my Khajitt... altho only level 15 I love stealing and working for the Theives guild. With the use of short blade or evena marksmen, I think they can be awesome. However the Boots of blinding speed is still a draw back... a painful one indeed. Uhhh yea they are cool, i would go with khajitt tho unless you would rather 'water breathe' and use a spear
