Quests

What kind of quest are you currently playing?
Self written or pre created?

Myself, I'm DM'ing a self written quest called The Portal Sling.
It's a story about a wizard who has planned to free a demon he is in league with. He's a Acolyte of the Skin, meaning he wears a demon hide which has merged with his own.
The demon is emprisoned in a prison plane created by other demons. Before she was caught there she created the portal sling, it allowes her to escape from her prison. When freed, she will reak havoc on Fearun.
Naturally the heroes try to stop this. :D

Yeah right now i'm doing a self- written. It's about a Insane Asylum/ Test lab. Where they have done tests on monsters gone horribly wrong. and they party has to go in and find out whats behind it all. they meet a guy who is trapped in a padded cell named Laike who is a skitzo. he is a Good and Evil die roll sees which he will be for that event. he is a pretty fun guy to Role Play.

It was a good...no....an excellent quest Rob. (and it was brilliant taken into account it was your first time as a DM).

I don't like pre-written quests. I did one once, Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, and I thought it was so crappy  . I tweaked it till I couldn't tweak anymore, and still I didn't liked it :(

Well, the things you did with the ToEE quest was very well done. To bad it would take a rewrite to make it a good quest, then it's not fun anymore to DM. Then you might as well write a new quest.

Thanx for the compliments, your too kind. :)
