Missed the boat

Post by Sir Redweed »

When you clear Spellhold and go to the underdark do you miss your chance to go to the Saugin city? If you go there can you still go to the underdark.
What doesn't kill you will make you stronger!!

Either option will take you to the Underdark but only the boat will take you to Sahaugin City. There are a couple of nice items among the fishfolk that you may not want to miss. Highlite for spoiler:

Part of the Wave halbred is there. Also there is the cloak of mirroring which reflects magic back on the caster, and if you have a monk in your party you can get some nice monk gauntlets that fortify a monk's attack if you side with the right faction (king I think because I sided with the Rebels last time and didn't get them). You can get the other two items regardless of which side you side with but you may have to double cross the side (what I mean here of course is to kill everyone) you chose if you don't get the wave halbred part initially.

lol, I went to that city and I got the silver blade and just killed all the shark people, simpler, you wait till the rebels and others quit fighting, and then kill the remains, and the prince and the king have both good itmes

Lol and by the way

I'm currently in Spellhold, but where do I get the chance to go to Sahaugin City? Because I don't want to miss it.

After spellhold you get the choice of taking a portal, or going with the pirate that brought you there. (Seamon Havarian(sp?))

Go with Seamon!

Also there is a cloack of protection +2 IIRC
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

I never even considered that since I don't like to leave any of these disgusting evil creatures alive. Can you pickpocket the king for the monk gauntlets as well?

No, you can only get those as a reward
