most damage dagger or shortsword?

Post by deepspace »

I have searched this forum for over a hour now and i cant seem to find what i am looking for. i have seen alot of replys saying do a search and you will find what your looking for but i cant so i decided to just ask. I like dagger because of there speed but have found some short swords that are just as fast also.what dagger does the most damage and where can i find it? Or what is the shortsword that does the most damage that is also quick? I have found the deadric dagger that seems to be the best dagger i have found so far and i have found the sorcean shortsword and that seems to be the best shortsword i have found besideds the goblin shortsword which is slow and not durable. I have the game of the year edition so if its on the expansion thats fine.

Black Hand Dagger is indeed nice. Another good dagger is the Fang of Haynekthnamet which can be found in Mamaea, Sanctum of Awakening (about midway between Berandas and Dushariran Shrine). It does awesome shock damage with each hit. Or enchant a daedric dagger or wakizashi with cast on strike paralyze, poison, damage health or strength, etc. These are very fast weapons. Mahrunes Razor is a decent dagger but not as good as the above IMO. You get it by doing a daedric shrine quest out of Yasammidan Shrine (west of Ald Velothi on the shore).
