A place to rest?
A place to rest?
Is there anywhere inside the temple to get some rest? I keep having to leave and rest up in nulb after every hard battle.

I've heard that in the "hidden" spiral staircase, between level 1 and 2 I think, there's a good chance of resting, but I never tried it there.

Dray is correct!
You can usually rest there without incident. Although, some form of creatures seem to show up there, they have never attacked my party... with the exception of Brigads!
I had a slew of monsters lingering around that place after the many "resting" times I spent there and one time while resting, Brigads came to call and the whole slew of previous visitors came to life... needless to say I did a quick F9 and hightailed it for higher ground!
Also you can ususally rest at Wonnilon's hide out. Generally, I found that most of the time I can rest best in an area where I can close my party in by shutting the doors.
Even though you may find these somewhat "safe places", you may find that your "rest" might also be interupted although you are not attacked. Just keep F12-ing and resting, if it doesn't work out, just F9 and try someplace else and you should do fine. Enjoy!

I tried resting in Wonnilon's hideout, and got ambushed 3 straight times by Gnolls and then by an ogre. The fights weren't difficult for me (level 6), but they were annoying. I decided to try once more, and then I was successful. Maybe I was just unlucky.
