Imnesvale, Cult of the Eyeless, and Tiris in Trademeet Quests

Post by rebelchica47 »

I'm stuck on all of these quests, and I'm in serious need of some help, anything would be appreciated.

In Imnesvale you know how you can buy the three kids swords and ale? Well I bought them the swords and all and then they run off to play or whatever, and...is that it? So why is it still on my quests list???

So I just killed the head hancho Mr. Eyeless himself, so where the heck did the rift device go? I don't have it anymore. It's not in my inventory and I can't find it anywhere. I picked up the necklace that the monster dude dropped but my rift device wasn't there either. I went all the way back to the Avatar but it just says that he has nothing to say to me. What now?

Ok lastly, the whole Skin Dancer quest with Tiris and Raisa, well it looks like I took a little too long to find a Restoration scroll and now Raissa's body is nowhere to be found, though I did find like 7 gold from where she was standing. I went back to Tiris' house to tell him the bad news about his girlfriend, but he's not there. Help?

I thought you could only use the rift device once and then you have to bring it back to the Avatar. Even the journal I have says "Once the beholder is killed, I must return the rod to the Avatar..."

Thanks for the info about the kids though. ;)

The rift device...

It ought to pop into your inventory, but if your inventory was full, it may have dropped on the ground

No clue on the skin dancers, I'm afraid.
I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.

Nope, didn't work either. But I just went back to the temple and talked to the guy at Helm and the quest went away. :)

Of course now I'm stuck on the Mae'Var Guild quest. I killed the guy that Edwin wanted me to, but when I went back to talk to him, it says he's busy and I can't get him to talk to me for my next quest. :/

Downloading the TOB patch usually fixes the problem with busy characters whenever I reinstall BG2 i have to get the patch or like half the people "appear busy"

Other than loading the patch you can leave the area you're in and come back and talk to whomever.

The "Idle hands in Imnesvale" isn't finished until you run in to the kids on the Imnesvale map. I haven't done that myself yet, so I can't help you anymore.

About the rift device.... the exact same thing happened to me during that quest. Apparently the thing dropped to he ground after I had used it. I had to go back to the site of the battle and look REAL hard to find it. ("It's small, so look close!") Pressing TAB helps.

You already resolved your cult of the eyeless problem

Ide hands at imesvale or whatever is solved by running into the kids in the cave on the map... you see them get attacked by a weak mob and they run away thinking its a dragon, you kill the thing and thats that.

Lessee the skin dancer quest, well, if you waited too long for the restoration thingy then your basically screwed, you won't find the girl's boyfriend either BTW, I had the same problem when I ran through the game the first time, I really didn't care what happened to the girl so I just left her... but I got 8 gold instead of 7 :)
