a) PS: T midi files b) Scottflaw Penn

Post by Gore Bishop »

Hey there,
I'm lookin for some answers I expect some of you witty cutters to give me :) :
a) Do you know about any MIDIs or at least scores for music in PS: T (I was trying to work 'Fall-from-Grace' theme, but I guess I'm not talented enough to get everything only using my humble ears)? I've seen only main theme online, nothing more. A score would do........ or any possibility to contact Mr Morgan.
b) hmm, what do you do when Scottflaw Penn tells you that Bedai-Lhin is trying to frame him or somethin, and he doesn't respond to your "the city must burn" password? I cant recall any problems like this happening before, but now I cant complete the tasks to be an Anarchist (I dont wanna be them particularly but there's always some more XP and you can break up with them just before you become one). anyway, Penn says that my password means nothing to him.......... Could he change his mind or do I hafta play once again if I want to become Anarchist (no way!).
Don't be shy. Answer please

Ach, you just missed it. Interplay put up all music from all their excellent rpgs (other games too) a few days ago, but I guess their servers were raped, as they're no longer available for download. I dont have the webspace to upload much, but I'll throw up Fall-from-grace's theme

here you go: http://www.freewebs.com/hohoho/_Fall-fr ... _theme.mp3

Well, I was searching for a MIDI, but merci beaucaup anyway

thx for the mp3, Oye. Kind of you to give me a hand, but unluckily that's not what im after :( . I've got all mp3, but i wanted to get wind of how to play the tune, what's the score a.s.o. (and that's why I needed a MIDI file). I spent some time looking for it on the web, but no one seems to have done it, so I made up my mind to crreate a MIDI of this motif myself. I've already got basics (piano, this clarnet-like instrument solo, basics of cello pizzicato). I can share it, but it's not done yet (and I doubt I'm patient enough to finish it) and it sounds like GM song (and how else would it sound like? :) ), and you won't enjoy to listen (it's different if you want the score, as I said, I've figured out the main tunes).
Anyway, thanx again for your assistance.
Anyone able to help me out with the pizzicato line, I won't be offended if you offer some help. :)
Ahoy

You say you worked out the main theme from the MIDI? I tried to as well, and this is what I came up with;

Would you agree with this?

I don't think there are MIDIs of any of the other tracks online.

The reason Scofflaw won't let you join is because you turned Vaxis in (the fake Zombie in the Mortuary). There's no becoming an Anarchist for you now.

Sorry to disappoint you, but probably you read my last reply to my post, and not the original text, so you didn't realize I'd meant 'Fall-from-Grace" theme. I'm working on a mdi file for it (and as I pointed out, I'm quite advanced, but I have not enough patience to work out string section [exact chords] and pizzicato strings [well, it's in the background, but it's quite complicated, it's not a riff to loop], nonetheless, I've already got both the piano at the end and the main solo, it's D-minor, I guess, though who cares). So if you plan to spend your lifetime working on 'FfG" theme, you can contact me and I'll spare you 5% time you would need).
But as for the main theme, I never tried to give it a closer look. Your (Platter's) version starts pretty well (tho the beginning isn't particularly challenging) but I haven't checked the rest. But..... I dunno if you know (you should know by now :) there's a MIDI file of the main theme going around the Web (maybe you happen to be an author of it :) ). It's a sorta compilaton (2:44 long), and it's got all the main tunes correct, so even if the length of particular tunes is wrong, you've got the right sounds. I don't remember where I fetched it from, but it's easy to find. If it's your version, thumbs up, the notes seem pretty ok, if it isn't have a look at it.
I think I won't finish my "F-f-G" theme, I'lll go try get some basics of another themes.
And thx for the info on Scottflaw. I thought turning Vaxis in may have caused my trouble. Ahoy.

What I meant was, the notes I posted above are actually extracted from that MIDI file. I used a MIDI editing program to see the actual notes, and then chopped it up a bit.

Sorry, I don't know anything about Grace's theme.
