I appear to be crap at this - but then if I wanted an action/arcade game I would have bought one. I thought I was buying an RPG !!

Anyway, on Tatooine I just can't win that third tier. I seem to hit just about every boost pad but can't get below about 22.9 secs - I need to shave another half second or so off that to win.

I'm playing the PC version - any tips ? Or am I just a hopeless case ?

Lower all settings (resolution etc.), so that the game runs smoother. Then your swoopbike will react much better.
Other then that, practice or do what I did, give up.

Thanks for that - the link was useful as that site contains a course map. Should be helpful - if I still can't do it then I definitely will give up !!
