Why Cant I Load New NPC

I cant load any of the add on npc. I`ve tried with Tashia. I have a RAR file. I right click and drag it into my BG2 folder. I click on set up and after it`s run for a short time, I get this message `Error:unable to find DIALOG.TALK`.
With Chloe the message is `Error: problem parsing tp file`.
I haven`t got a clue what they`re talking about.
Can anybody help, please?

Did you de-archive the complete RAR file before attempting installation? It sounds like you might have de-archived only the setup file.

I think you might have something there. I`ve only just started using this program and all I did was drag the file into the BG folder and clicked on `extract here`.
I`ll have to go back and read the label!
