Yup. Sad as it is, that's how it goes.

I have a small question.

I noticed there are some simillar weapons in game, for example, Black Chimes and Black Chimes of the Bell Warden. does this means i can 'upgrade' Black Chimes somewhere or that are just two different weapons (also Wandering Sky and Saga of Wandering Sky, and some others).

If i can do it, can someone explain what do i need for upgrade, and where i can upgrade it. Thanx for help in advance.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english

No, the upgraded versions of the weapons are for the game's Heart of Fury mode (the extra-tough mode, in other words). These enhanced items appear where the regular versions of the items do in HoF.

ohh, tough. Anyway, thanx for your answer.

And a new one (hope i am not being rude asking too much questions). In BG2 there were some gloves that enhanced monk's attack, and there were planty of that in NwN, is there any of that in ID2?

And can my monk wear robes that sorcerer or wizard use without penalty to hi AC?

1) There is at least one pair (a HoF version and a normal version) that boosts a monk's attacks.

2) From what I remember, only Wizards and Sorcerors could wear those robes, so a Monk/Wizard or Monk/Sorceror (in the latter case, a multi-classed Monk of the Dark Moon) could. The Wisdom-AC penalty I don't know about.

No, your Monk or multiclass Monk/wizard - Monk/sorceror loose the Wis bonus to AC if wearing robes.

If you plan to build a monk/sorceror you might as well set the Wisdom score to 10 and increse other stats as CHA/STR/DEX. You'll find a nice robe in Chapter 0 (+2 deflection to AC) and better one later. You loose Wis bonus to saves, but IMO it's worth the gain.

Have Fun :) :) :)
