I always wanted the other option. When you confront Dagoth Ur and he asks you your intentions concerning the heart, one option is to use it to become a god. As its a possible stated intention you should be able to, using knowledge cobbled together from all the dwemer books/plans you have found, to use the heart to become a god.

if not it would be cool of course you could just join him by killing vivec and all others ppl who r consbiring against him......

Would be interesting to join him, though he'd still have to die for there can be only 1 god.

(Why do you think I cheated to get 2 Azura stars......I have Vivec and Almexia(or whatever her name is) gemmed and they are worth a lot)

It would be nice though if the game made it more possible to actually take controll and be God-Emperor (since I have that title about now, being boss of almost every guild, the imperial army, house Hlaalu etc.)
