No way. :D
Irenicus all the way.
The engine lets him cheat. :D
He's level 29.

I just finished my first time through.

I could not touch Kangaxx the first time I tried (chapter two), nor Firkraag, but coming back after the Underdark I was almost disappointed in how easy they were. I probably reloaded for Kangaxx once or twice. Now Irenicus was impossible. Even with all my potions and protection spells and a small army of pets, it was pure luck (I can not rightly claim victory). My PC was the sole survivor and his portrait was getting extremely "thin." The Slayer just regenerated way to fast, and my summoned creatures were not keeping the demons at bay long enough. I spent a whole day reloading for this fight.

@ js, nonsense, most world changing victories have involved a good deal of luck.
;)

Claim your victory, and remember, you can always tell it any way you want later. Remember, history is written by the winners.

The poll is not which fight is hardest for you.

But which whould win if Irenicus, marched on down to the "place where skull boy is" and plunked down the golden bones. Then the 2 duked it out. Im not taking about the whole
nine dukes of hell the archmage jon and bhaals super ego that gang your @$$ in the big finish. I'd like to see this fight played out.

p.s. Demi-lichs are clasically evil mages or priests of great power ( 25+ ) that go though the process to become a lich then live thousands of years and become nearly pure energy ( and malice towards the living ). Not to mention all the spells the had in life the get huge casting bonuses i believe. Like no tangible component to their spells IIRC so casting time is greatly diminished.

In bg2 definetely Irenicus. Kangaxx's AI is really bad. He has just two weapons. Wail of the banshee and imprisonment. They are easy to protect against and he does nothing about your protections. In d&d it might have been a different story.
How someone that stupid could have survived for so long is a mystery.. kangaxx that is.
You can't handle the truth!
