Where's Gorje Hilldark? (spoilers)
I can't seem to locate this guy. The clue from Unger was that he was trapped at the ruined temple of a dead god. The dead god I assume, is Amauntor and he has two ruined temples. I've completed the Shade Lord and Unseeing Eye quests and checked those two temples on more than one occassion and there is no sign of Gorje. Am I looking in the wrong temples or could there be a bug that's preventing him from showing up. I checked back with Ungar and he won't talk to me. I also checked the building in the bridge district where you used to get the illithium but its vacant. Can anyone shed some light on this for me as I'd hate to have to hack the illithium into the game and miss out on this quest?

Shoot, he's not there. I just checked there and didn't see anyone. I don't think I could have killed him during the fight as I'm pretty sure I lured everything out of the room and fought the mummies and skellies after they crossed the lava. I think I used a summoned creature to lure the monsters out. I'll check again but I think I'm going to have to cheat the illithium into the game. Thanks for confirming his location.

Hmm, perhaps you should tell icelus about this... which version of UB do you have installed, and did you install any other mods after UB that alter this particular area?
On a sidenote, I think it's a bit amusing Gorje is standing right between those undeads without being attacked by them

Uncle,
It's funny that you say this because I ran into the exact same problem myself and asked the same exact question to Icelus on the Forgotten Wars forum. I was about to link to it here for you as it contains lots of information and even a screenshot, but for some strange reason the Unfinished Business forum is unavailable at the moment. The link to it from Forgotten Wars is also removed. On the Forgotten Wars website, it looks as if this mod never existed now. Very strange...
Anyhow, to answer your question about where Gorje Hilldark is, let me present a screenshot that I posted on Forgotten Wars as well:

Just like you, I had finished the Temple Ruins and never saw Gorje. After getting the quest from Unger however, the trigger kicks in and if you exit Copper Coronet and come back in a while later (I think you might actually have to go back to the Temple Ruins dungeon anc come back even though Gorje is not there anymore) and lo and behold, Gorje is there! Check out the conversation option I got in the above screenshot as well!
I posted all the mods I have to Icelus and he told me that they shouldn't have created this problem. What I did is I upgraded Unfinished Business from version 5 to 6 and I believe that might have messed things up.

I sent Icelus a bunch of savegame files on his request and a file from my override folder and he had told me that he would look at them. I am guessing time he didn't have time yet (it's been about a week) and unfortunately the forum is down right now so I can't go and check anymore.
I am really curious as to whether this is a bug or not.

Yes, I did receive them, but I've been a bit swamped lately (two forum moves and other miscellaneous fun), so I'm behind on email and such. I promise to look into this ASAP.
Yes, and as stated in the message above, Unfinished Business now has a new home at http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php

Icelus,
It's good to know that the forum is not down! I was thinking that you might have replied to my thread but since the forum said "inaccessible", I was unable to go and check.
Before, when the forum got moved, there was a link posted to it on the Forgotten Wars homepage. Right now, I can't find the link to it from anywhere. Numinar found the link somehow though.
Btw, I did the improved Crooked Crane, Nai-Pa, Boo, Kalah and extended Illithium quests so far and I love them! Grat job. Illithium was the only one that gave me some trouble but since Gorje showed up at the Copper Coronet after talking to Unger, I was able to complete the quest fine.
One thing I am wondering is if there is way to avoid the reputation loss from Aulova and Tiiro quest if you decide to do it.

Well, the game's existing scripts intended for your reputation to decrease due to the fact that you sent two criminals out on a rampage. Granted, you didn't realize that it would happen when you speak to them, but your reputation amongst the townspeople will still be one of infamy...

Hey Icelus, the link to the forum on the UB homepage still links to the old forum at forgottenwars.net, perhaps you should update it. I guess that's why black_paladin didn't find the way to the new forum, if you follow that link you get
this message.

Cloned him into the game
Thanks for all the support. I'm using the latest UB version 6 mod. I tried the Forgottenwars site earlier and was not able to get in. I was about to use SK to give myself the illithium when I thought of CLUAing in Gorje. Went to the area he was supposed to be in and created him. Then everything worked fine. I met up with him and Unger at the Copper Coronet and got the Neb quest. So I didn't miss any of the gameplay afterall. I don't think Gorje was standing next to Unger the whole time as Unger would not even talk to me until I cloned his bro. It may have something to do with completing the Shade Lord area before getting the Sir Sarles quest. Anyway the dialog was great. I think these UB fixes are fantastic. They really tie together all the loose threads. This has been the first problem I've encountered.
I noticed when I did the house in the Temple area some dialog that went something like "I've heard about you slavers and I'm here to put an end to you" or words to that effect. I actually had not heard of these guys being slavers anywhere previously and was wondering if I missed some quest that would have sent me there had I not known about it? BTW, I had pretty weak party at the time but I really wanted CF so I tried a new tactic (at least new for me). Set some traps by the stairs, ran my party up the stairs and immediately back down again. I was able to lure them down one by one by repeating this tactic. Finally I only had two to go so I finished them off upstairs. I took very little damage this way as I was able to overwhelm each enemy combatant.

Well, this isn't anything added by UB. More than likely it is from one of the battle-enhancing mods (Tactics or Improved Battles) that toughens that particular fight.

Re: Re: Cloned him into the game
Hmmm. Interesting. I don't have either of those mods installed. Just SoA, ToB, ToB patch, UB v.6, Baldurdash fixpak, and Tashia mods in that order. Maybe that dialog has been there all along and I'm just now noticing it. I tend to fast forward thru dialogs anymore and just take it for granted what the chars are saying. I think I was mistaking the Twisted Rune for the Crooked Crane and perhaps looking for new dialogs. Though I've got the TR mod I don't have it loaded currently. I wanted to run UB without much interference from other mods.

I guess the answer you could give them is there because you have Nalia in your party and released her from prison. When collecting all the proofs for Iseas involvment with the slavers and other illegal activities you find a book in his house that mentions "the slaver lords in the temple district". After that you can give them the answer you had.
Though I think this is not in the game from the beginning but added by the baldurdash fixpack.

Missed that one
Thanks! Excellent detective work! I really need to slow down and not zip through some of the clues found in game documents. I found the reference and agree that it most likely triggers the response I mentioned. Here's what Isaea's Slavery Document says:
"This document contains a register of slaves recently sold to this outpost of Slave Lords located in the Temple District. It also bears a signature in wax, pressed by a signet ring. It is the greater crest of the family Roenal, along with the individualized markings of Isaea Roenal. This is damning evidence if it is to be believed."
For some reason I thought the Slave Lords were asscociated with the Twisted Rune plot.
