Where's the damn hooker???

okay this is the second time i play BG2 (never played it through tho) and about the only thing left to do before i leave town is 'solve the skinner murders'. I talked to the boy, the beggar, but i can't freakin' find the 'courtesan' named Rose! I thought she was just walking around on the streets, in the neighbourhood of the merchant ant night, at least that's how I remembered it (could be wrong). I think I even saw her when I just accepted that quest, but I was pre-occupied with other stuff.

Am I wrong? I mean, do you have to go look for her in a house? or should i maybe do something else before she appears? you can't solve the quest without her clues, tried that already...

I believe you're looking for Rose Bouqeut, in the Skinner murders, correct?

Rose is dressed in Blue and Red, the only courtesan I think that is out during the day. If you find the fat merchant guy who gives you the samples, she's right near there.

OK, just after I posted this I thought, maybe I need to visit the animal tanner of the circus first (haven't done that yet) and that will trigger the presence of the 'courtesan'. Well, suffice it to say that I didn't find the tanner at the circus when I got there. I remember that I had to look for him last time, but after doing a quick rerun of whole waukeens promenade (day AND night), he's still not there.

Why are all these ppl disappearing buuuhuuu

Perhaps it's merely an afterthought, but have you considered consulting the [url="http://gamebanshee.com/baldursgateii/locations/bridgedistrict.php"]BG2 walkthrough[/url] here on the GameBanshee site?

You should find Rose just a bit north of area three on the map provided, to the right of the shopkeeper you gather the samples from. Good luck!

i never go to the waukeens promenade to solve the murder, i just go talk to the beggar (u seen him first

)then talk to the fat shop-owner talk to rose who is a couple of centimeters to the right from that fat shop-owner standing against the 5 flaggins inn (with that theater from Hear'Dallis u know what i mean) i don't think it is that hard

yeah the "damn hooker" is right by the five flagons inn. well she is a hooker you know that's why the guards wouldn't listen to her. i guess all of our PC's like hookers to even believe them.
