spell resistant armor

is the spell resistance 13 for armor bugged?

i put it on my chain shirt for my barb

and when i look at his name it shows spell resistance [0] and not 13

Hi, Raumo, and yes, AFAIK the Spell Resistance is heavily BUGGED.

I have worked for some time to make it work, (by lot's of editing), but to no avail.

My guess is that the spell fails to check for C9 or C10 (since it's a lvl 5 spell) and set's the variable to 0.

The spell description says : "Grant S.. Resist.." equal to 12 + caster level", minimum 21 (since Spell Resist. is lvl 5, availible at lvl 9 first) for the spell itself.

I have tried many things, but the "craft" option seems to check caster level at 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 & 10 and still fail. A lvl 9 or 10 caster should be able to craft Armors of Spell Res. 20/21 by the spell descr. But i don't know, still working on it though...

So as far as i know, Spell Resistance (13) is BUGGED

But, if you have a useless Chain +1, be sure to put Spell Resist & Silent Moves on it before you sell it, it gives a LOT more gold than you spend.
