Where is the Brothel????

I have seen references to the Brothel on the board and on Co8 patch, which I have installed, but I can not find it. Any help???

it is in nulb by that old lady u can free the slave from and return her orb to. bottom left of the map

I have returned the Orb of Sa and gave Mona the 500gp for Sarena but the building is not open to enter.

Do you have the CO8 patch installed sugah? If you do this inables your party to be able to talk to Mona about it and opens the brothel. With out the CO8 Patch installed you wont have the option to enter the brothel.
After you talk with Mona (I got this with a female party member) about the orb click on her again. You should have an option that states "what is all that screaming behind you?" You should click on that and then Mona will saying something like "That is no place for a female to enter." Or something like that. Then Click on the option of "Ummm I am going in there to look at pictures!" Then you'll be able to enter the brothel.
The only thing I have found out to be a problem with entering and leaving the place is : One you have to talk to Mona every time you want to enter and Two sometimes the party memebers will get stuck behind Mona and even if you click all on your party the wont move. The soultion is just to enter the buliding a crossed from you and Viola! There all back.

Hey guys,

Could you tell me what's exactly inside that brothel? Just to satisfy my little curiosity...

I don't have the Co*8 patch and don't plan to install it because I read somewhere in this forum or maybe at the atari forums that the Co8 patch somehow messes with the AI.

I'd really appreciate it if you could share with me the "new" things inside that brothel.

u can have sex with:

one female
two females
a male
an animal

I strongly suggest you get the Co8 patch, it don't mess with the AI, it fixes it.

A lot of the monsters don't behave as they should, Co8 fixes some of them, like Bugbears Tripping you, and some other fixes too.

If you have both patches the game actally is Playable.

And if you dont like it just un-install it, takes 15 seconds, and the game is back to normal (very BUGGED).

But you don't miis much by not installing the Brothel. Atari did right when they cut this out, it really sucks. The chance to have sex with animals shouldn't be part of a good CRPG IMO.

The lack of Masterwork items alone is worth installing Co8. You can then by the items you need, and uninstall it, you get to keep the items in your inventory.

The game is still bugged after both patches, but the buglist is reduced from over 500 to around 100 AFAIK, and many of these are minor.

There are two quests in the Brottel.

One is to talk to one of the women there and convince her to become a 'worker' but one that services woman, as it seems that is her persuation.

Another is to pay another visit to Mickey and tell him to quit bothering the brothel, easily solved by killing him.

Speaking of Killing Mickey does he have anything good on him? If you do kill him does this cause problems for your party in Omlet town or in Nub ?

Are you perhaps playing with a pre-mande half-orc cleric with low Int ? She's waaay funny and call Homlet for "Omlet"

Or i guess any low Int Chars. have misspelling in their dialouge lines...

Any way, my part speaker is at the moment a low Int high Cha fighter, and just to listen to (read) him speak is hilarious.

You can easily get by with only high Intimidaate skill.

And no, killing Mickey in Nulb shouldn't affect your reputation, but be careful when approaching him in Omlet.

Yeah my guy has a low Intellgent Barbarian/Fighter. She is hilarious! We tried are Paladin on getting the Orb back from Mickey but he failed miserabily. Then my guy decided lets have are chick the Barbarian try and if dont work then will kill him. She picked him up by his neck and said "Said hand over the orb Mickey' or me will break you in half!"
Needless to saying Mickey was peeing his pants by then and handed the orb over to the Barbarian. It was Hilarious! If you also wanna hear something else hilarious put your Paladin with a low Intelligence and let him talk to the towns people. Talk about a riot! The towns people get all mad when he asks them questions and stuff and mispronuces there occupation. I find it fun to have at least a couple charries with a low score in that feild.
