Part Members Deaths

Post by Barrin »

I know this is porbably in the manual but i did not buy this game that way. I just got it for free from a nieghbor so i dont have the handbook. When my party members die is there anyway i can bring them back? I have always just gone to the last save game.

There's a level 5 cleric spell, raise dead. it brings back a character to life, but the character will only have 1 hp. there are other spells that can resurrect, but raise dead is the most basic. You can go to a temple and pay money for resurrection as well. Note: this works ONLY if the party member still has a greyed out portrait on the party sidebar. If the portrait is gone (for example, the character broke into pieces), the character cannot be raised.

Haha, perfectionist. I do that sometimes as well, especially if my cleric dies.

Rod of Resurrection is the way to go. It works fast and gives full hit points. Use it during tough battles to get characters back in the fight, sans armor. When down to one charge, sell to a merchant then steal back. It will be fully recharged.

The other one is at Mekrath's place (the place in the sewers you go to rescue Haer'Dalis).

If you are thief, you can always recharge by selling your empty wands to a thief storekeep then stealing them back. Very easy to generate cash too this way if you are pressed. Just make sure your Pickpocket ability is above 150-160 (200 if you don't want to reload).
