This is in the form of a question, but works out like this...does backstab multiplier Multiply wep perks? like does the 5x multi plier jan jansen have multiply the amount of wepons special damage? Then a single successful backstab should apply the dex drain chaos blade does in a thief hands. I am not sure harry can backstab, I don't like that little git anyway, besides, jan is a better mage. so if I backstab with mislead I should get 10 dex drain per hit! two successful, easy to do in a single round with scarlet ninja to the the off ahnd and imp haste... can drain 20 dex should kill off anything!!!

I plan to make silver dragon my victem, got a question for those who have followed the silver dragon blood quest, does party object if and when you kill her off, or trade the real eggs to demon for a wepon tribute?

Nah, you can't backstab dragon (they can see the invisible)!
And no one (even Keldorn) in your party will complain about silver-dragonslaying or giving real egg to demon since those things won't hurt your reputation (Keldorn will go red if you attack bystander or fail pickpocketing).

And I don't think Dex drain will work like that, because it applies to "each" successful attack (backstab is considered just one attack) but I'm not sure about that (I never used chaos blade myself).

Eally simple test, pick up flame sword, and backstab anything with it, you should see base damage and a number of elemental damages.

in any case, with improv haste and scarlet ninja to in off hand you should still get about 6 attacks per round, so even if backstab does not multiply dex drain, you should still be able to hit many times...

jan is rapidly becoming my fav char, for all the eveil things use any item can do....might even go back later to ribald and buy back those frigging harps only harry could use....might be worth it....

er... good luck with killing the silver. That was the toughest battle for me, she's a piece of work that one. There are a few different ways to play it, but played a certain evil way then offering the eggs to the demon for a boon will cause any -good- player to leave and/or go hostile, naturally this includes Jaheira and Cernd.

'course if you're truly evil they would have left you long ago.
