Materworks Maul....HELP

okay, I'm a dumbass... here's what you get for not reading up on forums/walkthroughs before adventuring in ToEE:

ok, I found the Masterworks Maul in it's original location (somewhere in the dungeon, can't remember where) and (not knowing it's significance) I sold it to the blacksmith (who doesn't keep items you've sold to him in his inventory).

I fought of the traders in Homlett, so that source is gone.

so, now I'm unable to get all the items necessary to destroy the Orb of Golden Death.

is there another way of finding/creating/cheating to get the damn Masterworks Maul so I can destroy the Orb?

am I just an out of luck dumbass, destined to find countless defeats vs. the un-weakened Lady of Funghi?

help a newbie, if you pleeeeze....

Did you try Otis in Nub?

He is the only Other Black Smith that may carry the item.

Try that.

Oh and uh I like to point something out too that I forgot to mention.
If you have the CO8 patch installed it will allow the BlackSmith in Omlett to sell masterwork items.

If ya don't have it get it. But if ya don't want the patch try Otis
