Playing the Addon Shadows of Undrentide

How do I actually start the addon? is it correct to go like: new game -> chose SoU -> import a premade character?
It works of course.. but is the addon ment to be played with a new character of the old one from NWN? With my level 15 Sorc its no challenge at all to slay those puny goblins!
maybe I started the addon wrong so the challenge rating was not set correctly...?

The game is actually meant to be played with a new character, starting level 1.

And if it is the first time playing through SoU - I would strongly recommend starting with a level 1 character, otherwise you miss (might miss) to much of the game, because one is simply "blasting through it" .

Then after you have played it through onces as it was ment to be, then you can take your sorcerer through the game to build up a few extra levels on him, if you intendt to play the expansion HotU, which is following up on the SoU (storyline wise).

Of couse, there is nothing to hinder for you playing through SoU with your L15 sorcerer, but you might miss to much though.
