Delete spells?

Post by baileyatbrats »

Hi.
I seem to have accidentally hit a setting where whenever I try to choose a spell, Morrowind asks if I "Really want to delete" the spell.

It my have been a random keyboard stroke.

Is anyone familiar with this? How do I fix it?

Did you try hitting your game with a hammer? :)
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

Happened to my friend. After a little while, it suddenly worked again. ^^ He probably pressed something without knowing though, I don't know.

I believe pressing shift or ctrl while you click on the spell brings up this option - make sure you haven't got either of those two buttons pressed down by anything. My X key on my old keyboard got perminatnly stuck like that when I spilt a beer on it, and i had to replace it. My typing looked like...

"xxxxxxxxxxxXXHXxxxxxixxxxxx, xxxxxxxxhoxxxxwxxx xxaxxrexx xxyoxxu?xx" etc

It is Shift-key for me. Useful when you don´t need the wimpy spells you get from the beginning. :D

Thank you

The hammer did the trick.

So, it's shift, is it? (or ctrl)
Okay. I was doing a lot of sneaking around Red Mountain. I thought maybe it was one of those areas of no magic like the had in the old ssi "Pools of Radience" series. (Remember those? '94 through '96 or so)

It worked fine once I re loaded.
