Summoning creatures

Post by Ravenbane »

Seems to me that the level V summon (the bear) is no where near as tough as the level IV (the spider). Does the spider get tougher as I level up??

also the wolf (level III) keeps trying to knockdown people, even when 1 hit will kill them, is there any way to stop him doing this.

I usually cast fire weapon on my summons, but on the spider it only seems to work some of the time, does it only work for the first attack or what??

Finally is there a way to stop summoned creatures from bash boxes, I can tell them to stop each time, but can I tell them to never bash boxes(or anything else)

One more..
How long is a minute in game time, manual says 48 minutes real time = 1 day so 2mins = 1 hour so 2sec = 1 minute.

but spells that last for 1 minute per caster level last way longer than 18seconds (Level 9 caster)

Thanks

The spider shouldn't get stronger as you level. From the stats the bear is certainly superior so perhaps it is a product of bad AI?

I'm think (not sure though) that you can tell your summons not to attack boxes etc. if you have HotU installed.

There is no way to stop the wolf from attempting to knockdown people unless you change the AI script.

I have no idea about Flame Weapon.

I was always under the impression that 1 round = 6 seconds and 10 rounds = 1 minute/turn.
