Fear the Almighty Raumoheru!!!
Well i cudnt figure out a ay to kill that damn lich cuz he kept casting imprisonment. so i saw in my bag of holding that i had a spell immunity scroll so i looked up what that school it was (abjuration) and became immune to it. then my CF stuned him when i hit him and it only did like 3 damage every hit for some reason. i had him stuned a lot and he actually had a morale failure and ran away making me chase him down

Good job!
He's even more pathetic when you have protection from magic active (from green scroll). For me the problem is always the big party; going in solo just for this battle (with protections available) is a good idea. Jaheira loves to get imprisoned screwing up the romance

or have a simmy or image cast the scroll ON him....
or scatter a bunch of traps at the end of the walkway, and use ring of ram to push him into the traps...
or use mindcontrol circlet on him...
that's all the funny ways to kill kangy i can think off the top of my head...

His lair is a party required area so sadly you have to go in mob handed. Cast protection from undead on anyone not under protection from magic and Kangy will ignore them...just keep whoever's under protection from magic away from the main group and close to Kangy as he likes to throw remove magic.

Well, improved Kangy is very annoying. You are right about the party-requirement thing. That's why I kick out everyone except for the active romance NPC (if there is one) and take on Kangaxx with a reduced party. The ease-of-use component that lets kicked out NPCs "wait here" is really useful
(I usually have them wait in the room upstairs).
But really, it seems that because of their annoying invulnerabilities, liches are easier to kill (read: with less injuries/casualties) with a small party. All you need is some fodder-summoning and perhaps some weapons that deal elemental damage. Since you have to wait around quite a bit for PfMWs to wear off, the less party members you have hanging around, the better.
Is it just me, or does someone else also find the City Gates lich so annoying just because of the cramped space? It's much easier to face those creatures in the open

even simpler..due to scripting error, this is the only lich in the city who can't see invisible...so use improved invisibility to grab sword...blast him with sunray, chuckle...
(actually he can see invisible, but his dialog script can't initiate dialog with invisible, so unless you talk to him or attack, he can't turn hostile...)

The only thing I cant forget bout Kangy, is the dual ring of Gaax... wow...
Baldurdash did fix that
You can do it yourself, but do it with a sim/PI will mean you don't use up the scroll
I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.
