The way this works is for every vote given to each contestant, one slot in the roll will be given to them. The computer will then randomly pick a slot and then I will write an epic story of their valiant battle. Posts may be used in the story.
The match begins.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

Probably. I have no idea what you're talking about, but hey, this is SYM, and that's never stopped us before, has it?

So, what do you think about Grover Cleveland? Do you think rumors that he'll be summoned by a necromancer to take over the post of Democratic frontrunning challenger to Dubya are true? :)

First, I wouldn't underestimate something like that happening.
Second... man I guess no one here knows much about video games. The two above are very popular and any gamer should know them. Guess I should've taken it to a site that knew more about video games.

LOL! I've been reviewing games for magazines and websites since 1986, and some others here have been playing 'em as long and as often as I have--since the end of the 70's. I guess because I don't know you're favorite games, though, I'm pretty stupid, huh? :D Wonder if I can live with that?

Sigh these aren't even my favorite games, but yes I go to many sites. Your talking about the 1980's I'm talking about the 1990's and 2000's where these games take place. I go to many sites that have never heard of these characters. Keep in mind it's because these sites include games for PC, nintendo, SNES, and playstation. Where the first game's series didn't get very popularly known until it hit PS2 and the second game is from Warcraft 3 which was a game of the year so don't talk to me about these games not being popular. Soul Reaver and Kain happen to have crossed from four game systems and go to an up to date sight, because the Legacy of Kain is very popular.

@Bloodthroe, if you have any idea how insulting this sounds--as though you have far more knowledge than the rest of us, simply because you know some characters in games that either 1) we don't know, or 2) people who do know haven't responded yet. :) I could name off over a hundred characters in games whom you haven't heard of. To turn around your own remarks on you, would that prove you "don't know much about video games"? I don't think it would. It would merely show you don't know those games, and perhaps concentrated on other ones. That's all it would prove. ;)

Yeah I didn't word that right, so sorry, but hey you did the right thing by acting so understanding about it... Anyways, what would be the point of name 100 characters from games that I don't know? Do you know I don't know them? Or I could easily turn around and name 100 you don't know. So I see no point in it.

Funny how, as a gaming site, apparently we unfamilar with said characters :o :p

Personally, neither of them interest me all that much. Illidan was a cliched, tortured anti-hero, while Kain was a cliched megalomaniac villain, so meh.

Btw, take care with Fable. He is a gaming godling, and uses his infinite source of wisdom to confuse us :D

And, second... yeah, no gaming rookies here... lol :D

Never underestimate the power of the old ones (read mr F) nor the ladies (the Twisted Sisters) nor the COMM (Weasel, mostly) and never, never cross the way of the HEATHEN... hehehe...

And take care with the Monk guy, he is the ultimate source of Paulaner Beer here ;)
Flesh to stone ain't permanent, it seems.

@Blood Do not under any circumstance insult either italian plumber or blue furry hedgehog.

Illidan is exactly what Aegis said... The best cut scene/character is Thrall lets just settle that there.

Kain/Raziel eh... Never real got into me with those games. I played the second version, the one staring Raziel... it wasn't even a finished product.

Now if you wanna do fights...

Rygar vs. Bionic Commando.
Jackie Treehorn: People forget the brain is the biggest sex organ.
The Dude: On you maybe.

Emphasis on old, extremely old. Cancel that: emphasis on rich, rich in knowledge. Yes, the wealth of the wisdom of the ages. Oh, yes. :)

But I too have to agree, both characters are a bit cliche.

No, just working up my campaign speech for acceptance as US presidential candidate this year on the Ancient Gods ticket. Aegis is going to be my VP. If we lose, we'll try the UK, next. I don't like the weather, but the Brits are more civilized, so I wouldn't mind ruling them and putting up a few temples full of holy prostitutes. :)
