*sigh* Crash bug - I give up

Post by Seyal »

Okay, I fought my way to the air node, killed the boss there, got out and now trying to get out of the temple.

But no.

Whenever I try to go back to Temple Level 1, it crashes. I can go anywhere else in the stupid temple, but if I try to go to level 1, it crashes.

I give up.

Have you tried to exit via the 'back door' that leads to the burnt farmhouse ? Maybe it's worth a try. You go from lvl 3 where you find the skull out behind the temple.

Good luck
 Oh, When all else fail, put the Dwarf up front!

You could also try teleplorting out.

Ok, I got out thru the farmhouse. I just hope there's nothing on level 1 I need

Note to self: Don't try to kick Darley out of the group. Tried that in order to by some masterwork stuff from the armorer in Hommlet and the little succubus attacked me.

> If you want to use the feats like "Shot on the Run" or "Spring Attack" you most first uncheck the option "End turn after default action". As well as set the "End turn with time for _____".

You must have set off her attack switch by inadvertantly hitting her with a spell or something.

If I did, I'd like to know how.

I mean I had a PC talk to her, then told her I need for her to leave. She got an attitude and was like "I thought me being a demon didn't bother you"

Anyway, I told her no that wasn't why, and proceeded to ask her to leave then immediately I jump into combat after all the dialog was finished.

This was in her demon form. I wonder if that's why (and the major difference between the two forms aside from a few HP)?

I have a save with my meeting with her, I'll see if she as a human won't make her jump me when I kick her out.

I alway's tend to pick up Darley and have never had a problem with her.

If you set off the flag which makes them aggressive towards the party while they're with the party it stays on forever. I'm always very careful to make sure I'm not accidentally hitting an NPC an area affect spell or sending them into an area under affect. I've only had trouble having an NPC leave and joining them up latter once ... and it was Meleny which I apparently must have broken my rule.

The interesting thing is that as a human, I've killed her (to change her inventory when I accidently kicked her out of the group), hit her with a fireball by mistake and then asked her to leave, and nothing hostile happend.

I guess all of that didn't trigger the flag, talk about getting lucky. :)

I wonder if it had to do with my skills in communicating (bluff, etc) or maybe my CHR.

But I still think it's the demon form, but you never had a problem so I don't know.
